Questions

How long does an order take?

Each pedestal is made to order, with around 4-6 weeks lead time inclusive of both production and shipping.

What wood do you use?

We use 100% solid Radiata Pine from New Zealand.

Are the black pedestals stained or charred?

Our black pedestals are finished with Shou Sugi Ban, a Japanese charring technique, rather than being stained and treated. Burned wood acts as a natural sealant and also provides a sophisticated matte finish that would otherwise not be possible to achieve with staining.

Can I order swatches first?

Yes, sample swatches are available for order on our website. However due to the nature of using natural wood and the hand-finishing process, there may be slight differences in finish and color across pieces.
